Course A: The Benefits of 3D-Printed Signage

This course offers 1 LU hour (HSW). After completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain how 3D-printed signgae fabrication differs from other fabircatino methods.

  2. Understand the increased design options made possible via the 3D-printed fabrication method.

  3. Identify the ramifications for compulsory ADA sign procurement and design.

  4. Understand how to specify for 3D-printed and ADA signage in your future projects.

Course B: Architectural Metalwork and Signage

This course offer 1 LU hour (No HSW). After completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the best practices behind signage and architectural metalwork design.

  2. Discuss integrating signage into building design / aesthetics (ex. include Barclays Center, 30 Rockefeller Center, et al.).

  3. Understand the methods of fabrication for large-scale signage, including modular sections and layout methods.

  4. Review and understand the economic and practical benefits of custom rigging solutions.
